Jan 20

People love to get suspicious about making money the fast way. They love to talk about how that’s not the way things should be and those who make the so called fast buck are usually cheats. Is this really true? Might there be another reason they would be saying this? Jealousy comes to mind since that’s a fairly basic human emotion and not some lofty philosophical construct. Yes, fast money is intimidating to most people because they don’t understand how to make it and believe it or not this attitude has come to saturate marketing of all places. Those folks don’t understand the value of is not in the super rapid sales they generate but the fact that these sales are meeting the emotional needs of the customer on a basic level. They want to be optimistic and you are helping them achieve that state of mind by selling them what they wanted, sweepstakes leads.

Now, plenty of folks in sales like to trumpet themselves as building all these great relationships but it doesn’t take long on social networking sites like Twitter or Facebook to realize these folks aren’t adding a whole lot of value with their slow sales approaches. Why not be honest and just save your sales pitches for those who want to buy instead of trying to win the world over? It’s a big world out there and plenty of customers want to help you make a sale so do business with those sweepstakes folks first and succeed.
